Melissa Sayeh

Melissa SAYEH graduated from a Master of Law from “Université Catholique de Louvain” in 2009. She also qualified in Italian language and literature at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters.

She furthered on her education by pursuing traineeships, first, at AP LAW, a law firm in London, and then at the International Criminal Court for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague, where she was assistant to the presiding judge of the 3rd Court of First Instance.

She has been an active member of the French Bar Association of Brussels since 2011.

On a daily basis she practices commercial law, company law, distribution law, and in general contract and obligations law. She both performs as a litigator as and as a legal counsel.

She joined CAIRN LEGAL in January 2023 where she is also handling banking law cases (which involve security law, insolvency, and commercial operations within the framework of a company’s day-to-day business).

Admitted to the Brussels Bar in 2011.

Member of the Non-Profit Association “Crossroad for the Junior Attorneys” (Carrefour des stagiaires” – Editor in chief of the periodic journal “Pas Perdus” – chairwoman for the International Commission.

Secretary of the Brussels Young Bar Conference from July 2014 to June 2016.

Member of the International Relations Commission of the French Bar Association of Brussels.
